These useless fantasies

Are driving me toward insanity.
Patiently, yet passionately
Waiting by, it’s sad to see
Myself in a position I promised I would leave
But it’s not that easy,
Not that easy.
Breezy, held together on standby,
Uneasy, sweaty hands and dry-eye.
There’s a clamor without a crowd
It smears, my depth perception resets in inception
As the blur sets in;
Submerged underwater,
Cold, shocked
Stopped up and caught up;
Static in my ears, I can’t hear
There’s nothing there,
Nothing fair to compare(;)

How can I?
I can’t… I
Need to set my mind on other sights
New heights,
New eyes; bright lights
Walk by.
